Peter Piot

Peter Karel Piot, Baron Piot, KCMG, FRCP, FMedSci (born 17 February 1949) is a world-renowned Belgian microbiologist recognized for his significant contributions to the study of Ebola and AIDS. He is currently serving as the director of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
