Early Life[edit | edit source]
Princess Louise Eleonore was born in Langenburg, a town in the Holy Roman Empire, to Christian Albert, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Princess Caroline of Stolberg-Gedern. She was raised in a noble family with strong ties to other European royal families.
Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]
On 27 November 1782, she married George I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen. The couple had three children:

- Ida of Saxe-Meiningen, who married Bernhard of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.
- Bernhard II, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen, who succeeded his father as Duke of Saxe-Meiningen.
