Rachid Sfar (born September 11, 1933) is a Tunisian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Tunisia from 1986 to 1987. He is a prominent figure in Tunisian politics and has held various governmental positions throughout his career.

Rachid Sfar was born in Monastir, Tunisia. He is the son of Tahar Sfar, a notable Tunisian nationalist and one of the founders of the Neo Destour party. Rachid Sfar pursued his higher education in France, where he studied at the École nationale d'administration (ENA), a prestigious institution that has trained many French and international political leaders.

Rachid Sfar began his political career in the early 1960s. He held several key positions within the Tunisian government, including roles in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning and Finance. His expertise in economic matters earned him a reputation as a skilled technocrat.

In 1986, Rachid Sfar was appointed as the Prime Minister of Tunisia by President Habib Bourguiba.
