Radio control (RC) is a technology used to remotely control the operation of devices, typically using radio signals. It is widely used in various applications, from hobbyist model aircraft, drones, cars, and boats, to industrial and scientific purposes such as remote control of machinery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Radio control systems consist of a transmitter, which is held by the operator, and a receiver, which is installed in the device being controlled. The transmitter sends control signals to the receiver using radio waves, which then interprets these signals and makes the device move or operate accordingly. These systems often operate on higher frequencies and can include additional channels for functions like retractable landing gear, flaps, and cameras.
