Rafi Ahmed (born January 1, 1995) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Dhaka Division in domestic cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, known for his all-round capabilities.
Early life and career[edit | edit source]
Rafi Ahmed was born in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. He started playing cricket at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of local cricket clubs. His talent was evident early on, and he was soon selected to play for the Dhaka Division team.
Domestic career[edit | edit source]
Rafi made his debut in first-class cricket for Dhaka Division in 2015. Since then, he has been a consistent performer for his team. In his first-class career, he has scored over 1200 runs with an average of 35.29, including two centuries and eight half-centuries. His highest score in first-class cricket is 150.
As a bowler, Rafi has taken 75 wickets in first-class matches, with a bowling average of 25.40. He has three five-wicket hauls and one ten-wicket match haul, with his best bowling figures being 6/45.
