Rajko Tomović
Serbian scientist and engineer

Rajko Tomović was born in 1919 in Serbia. He pursued his education in electrical engineering, graduating from the University of Belgrade. His early academic interests were in the areas of control systems and automation, which laid the foundation for his future work in cybernetics and robotics.

Tomović began his career as a researcher at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute in Belgrade, where he worked on developing control systems for various applications. His work at the institute was instrumental in the advancement of cybernetic principles in engineering.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Tomović was a leading figure in the development of the CER-10, the first digital computer in Yugoslavia.
