Randolph Keith Reginald Stewart, 13th Earl of Galloway (b. 14 October 1928 – d. 27 March 2020) was a Scottish nobleman and peer. He was the son of Randolph Stewart, 12th Earl of Galloway and his wife, Olive.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Randolph Stewart was born on 14 October 1928. He was educated at Harrow School, one of the most prestigious independent schools in the United Kingdom. Following his education, he served in the British Army.

Title and Estates[edit | edit source]

Randolph Stewart inherited the title of Earl of Galloway upon the death of his father, Randolph Stewart, 12th Earl of Galloway, in 1978. The title of Earl of Galloway is a Scottish peerage that was created in 1623. The family seat is Galloway House, located in Dumfries and Galloway.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Randolph Stewart married Lily May Budge in 1975. The couple had no children. Stewart was known for his interest in Scottish history and the preservation of his family's heritage.

Later Life and Death[edit | edit source]

In his later years, Randolph Stewart resided at Galloway House. He passed away on 27 March 2020 at the age of 91. Upon his death, the title passed to his cousin, Andrew Clyde Stewart, who became the 14th Earl of Galloway.
