Red Eagle (Historical Figure)[edit | edit source]
William Weatherford, also known as Red Eagle (1780–1824), was a notable leader of the Creek Nation during the early 19th century. He played a significant role in the Creek War, a conflict between the United States and a faction of the Creek Nation known as the Red Sticks.
Weatherford was of mixed Creek, French, and Scottish descent. His Creek name, Hopvnake, translates to "Truth Maker" in English, but he is best known by his war name, Red Eagle. Despite his resistance to American expansion, Weatherford later became an advocate for peace and assimilation.
Red Eagle (Television Series)[edit | edit source]
Red Eagle (Águila Roja in Spanish) is a popular Spanish adventure television series set in the 17th century. The series follows the exploits of a masked hero, the Red Eagle, who fights against injustice and corruption in the Spanish Empire.
The series was produced by Globomedia and aired on Televisión Española from 2009 to 2016. It was well-received by audiences and critics alike, winning several awards during its run.
Red Eagle Games[edit | edit source]
Red Eagle Games is a video game development company known for its work on the Wheel of Time series. The company was founded in 2006 by Rick Selvage and Larry Mondragon, with the aim of creating games based on the Wheel of Time fantasy novels by Robert Jordan.
Despite initial excitement, the company faced several challenges and delays in the development process. As of 2021, the status of the Wheel of Time game project remains uncertain.
