Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt (September 14, 1880 – September 4, 1925) was an American financier and equestrian. He was born in Staten Island, New York, and was a member of the prominent Vanderbilt family.

Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt was born on September 14, 1880, in Staten Island, New York. He was the son of Cornelius Vanderbilt II and Alice Gwynne Vanderbilt.
Career[edit | edit source]
Vanderbilt worked as a financier and was known for his interest in horse racing. He was an accomplished equestrian and participated in various horse racing events.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
Vanderbilt married Cathleen Neilson in 1903, and they had two children together. Their marriage ended in divorce, and Vanderbilt later married Gloria Morgan in 1923.
Death[edit | edit source]
Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt passed away on September 4, 1925, in Manhattan, New York.
