Richard Bloomingdale
Richard Bloomingdale is a prominent American labor leader and advocate for workers' rights. He has served as the President of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO, a state federation of labor unions, representing over 800,000 workers across Pennsylvania.

Richard Bloomingdale was born in Pennsylvania. He attended Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in Labor Studies. His early exposure to the labor movement and his academic background laid the foundation for his future career in labor advocacy.

Bloomingdale began his career as a union organizer with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). He quickly rose through the ranks due to his dedication and effective organizing skills. In 1994, he joined the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO as the Director of Legislation and Political Action.
