Richard Raši
Richard Raši (born April 2, 1971) is a Slovak physician and politician. He has served in various political roles, including as the Minister of Health and the Mayor of Košice. Raši is a member of the political party Hlas – Social Democracy.

Richard Raši was born on April 2, 1971, in Košice, Czechoslovakia. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, where he earned his medical degree.
Medical Career[edit | edit source]
Raši began his career as a physician, specializing in emergency medicine. He worked at the Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Košice, where he gained significant experience in the field of healthcare.

Minister of Health[edit | edit source]
Richard Raši was appointed as the Minister of Health of Slovakia in 2008. During his tenure, he focused on healthcare reforms and improving the quality of medical services in the country.
Mayor of Košice[edit | edit source]
In 2010, Raši was elected as the Mayor of Košice, the second-largest city in Slovakia. He served in this role until 2018. As mayor, he was involved in various urban development projects and initiatives aimed at improving the infrastructure and quality of life in Košice.
Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Informatization[edit | edit source]
In 2018, Raši was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Informatization in the government of Slovakia. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing investments and the development of information technology infrastructure in the country.

Richard Raši is a member of the political party Hlas – Social Democracy, which was founded by former members of the Direction – Social Democracy party. He has been actively involved in the party's activities and has held various leadership positions.
