Rimon (wine)
Rimon Winery is an Israeli winery that specializes in the production of wine made from pomegranates, rather than grapes. The winery is located in the Galilee region of northern Israel, and is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 2003.
History[edit | edit source]
Rimon Winery was founded by the Nachmias family, who have been growing pomegranates in Israel for three generations. The family's patriarch, Gabi Nachmias, was inspired to create wine from pomegranates after noticing the high quality of the fruit his family was producing.
Production[edit | edit source]
Rimon Winery uses a unique process to create their pomegranate wine. The pomegranates are harvested by hand, and then the juice is extracted and fermented. The winery produces several different types of pomegranate wine, including dry, dessert, and sparkling wines.
Recognition[edit | edit source]
Rimon Winery has received international recognition for their pomegranate wines. They have won several awards at international wine competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
