Rivière
Rivière is a term predominantly used in the context of geography and hydrology to describe a natural watercourse flowing towards an ocean, a lake, a sea, or another river. In some cases, a rivière may refer to a smaller stream or creek, depending on regional language and terminology differences. The study of rivers and their impact on the environment and human societies falls under the scientific disciplines of hydrology, geography, and environmental science.

Rivers are formed from precipitation, melting snow, or springs that accumulate and flow due to gravity.
