Rochester Hills is a city located in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. It is a suburb of Detroit and is part of the Metro Detroit area. The city is known for its scenic beauty, excellent schools, and vibrant community.

Rochester Hills was settled in 1817 by James Graham. It was originally known as Avon Township and was primarily an agricultural community. In 1869, it was incorporated as a village and later became a city in 1984.
