Rock Art Brewery is a renowned microbrewery located in Morrisville, Vermont. It was established in 1997 by Matt Nadeau, who started brewing beer in his basement. The brewery is known for its wide range of craft beers, including the infamous Vermonster.

History[edit | edit source]

Rock Art Brewery was founded by Matt Nadeau in 1997. Nadeau, a home brewer, decided to turn his passion into a business. The brewery started in the basement of Nadeau's house, but quickly outgrew the space. In 2001, the brewery moved to a larger facility in Morrisville, Vermont.

Sustainability[edit | edit source]

Rock Art Brewery is committed to sustainability. In 2011, the brewery installed solar panels on the roof of their facility, making it the first brewery in Vermont to be powered by solar energy.

Awards and Recognition[edit | edit source]

Rock Art Brewery has received numerous awards for their beers. In 2010, their Vermonster beer won the Great American Beer Festival gold medal in the Barley Wine-Style Ale category.
