• Rogersville is a town in Hawkins County, Tennessee, United States. It was settled in 1775 by the grandparents of Davy Crockett, and is the second-oldest town in the state. It is named for its founder, Joseph Rogers. The town is built on a part of the land granted to Rogers by the state of North Carolina in 1786.

• Rogersville is located in northeastern Tennessee, approximately 65 miles (105 km) northeast of Knoxville. The town is situated along the Holston River, near the confluence of the North and South Forks.
