The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington is a Latin Church ecclesiastical jurisdiction or diocese of the Catholic Church in the United States. It encompasses the entire state of Vermont and is part of the Ecclesiastical province of Boston.

The Diocese of Burlington was established on July 29, 1853, by Pope Pius IX. The first bishop was Louis De Goesbriand, who served from 1853 until his death in 1899. The diocese has grown and evolved over the years, adapting to the changing needs of its parishioners and the broader community.
