PACKARD, Ronald C

Ron Packard (born January 19, 1931) is a retired American politician and businessman who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1983 to 2001. He represented California's 48th congressional district as a member of the Republican Party. Before his tenure in Congress, Packard was involved in local politics and had a career in dentistry.

Ron Packard was born in Meridian, Idaho. He pursued higher education at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he earned a Bachelor's degree. Following his undergraduate studies, Packard attended the University of Southern California, where he received his degree in dentistry.
