The Royal College of Art (RCA) is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. It is the only entirely postgraduate art and design university in the world. The RCA offers postgraduate degrees in art and design to students from over 60 countries.

The Royal College of Art was founded in 1837 as the Government School of Design. It was initially established to improve the quality of design in British manufacturing. The institution underwent several name changes before becoming the Royal College of Art in 1896. The RCA has a rich history of producing influential artists and designers, including David Hockney, Ridley Scott, and Tracey Emin.

The RCA has three main campuses located in South Kensington, Battersea, and White City. Each campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support a wide range of artistic and design disciplines.
