- Rush City is a city in Chisago County, Minnesota, United States. It is located along the I-35 corridor in the northeastern part of the state, approximately 55 miles north of Minneapolis-St. Paul. The city is named after the Rush River, which runs through the city's eastern edge. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 3,079.

- Rush City was platted in 1870 and incorporated in 1874. The city's growth was spurred by the construction of the Northern Pacific Railway, which connected Rush City with Duluth and the Twin Cities.

- Rush City is located in the northeastern part of Chisago County, along the banks of the Rush River. The city covers a total area of 4.32 square miles, of which 4.25 square miles is land and 0.07 square miles is water.
