The SDS Tuberculosis and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest diseases, formerly known as SDS Tuberculosis Sanatorium, is a government-run institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is affiliated with the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and specializes in the treatment of tuberculosis and other chest diseases. The sanatorium is situated on a large campus near Hosur road in Bangalore.

The SDS Tuberculosis Sanatorium was named after the wife of philanthropist Devarao Shivaram as "Shanthabai Devarao Shivaram Tuberculosis Sanitorium". Later, as it became a teaching hospital associated with the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, it was renamed Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases. However, it is still commonly referred to as the TB "aaspatre" (Kannada term for hospital) by locals.

The institute is known for its expertise in treating chest diseases, particularly tuberculosis, which is a major cause of mortality and morbidity in the region. It provides specialized medical and surgical treatment for tuberculosis and its complications at an affordable cost. Additionally, it serves as a referral hospital for chest injuries and trauma care.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from various medical disciplines are posted at the institute for clinical and surgical experience in diagnosing, treating, and following up on pulmonary diseases.
