SVP Hospital or Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a public hospital and medical college located in Ellis Bridge, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on January 17, 2019. The hospital is operated by the AMC-Medical Education Trust and is affiliated with the Amdavad Municipal Corporation.

The construction of SVP Hospital was proposed in 2013 under the Chief Minister's Swarnim Shaheri Vikas Yojna with funding of Rs. 331 crore. The hospital was built next to the existing VS Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

SVP Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. It has a total of 1,500 beds, 32 operation theaters, 139 ICU beds, and 90 consultation rooms. The hospital also has a helipad for air ambulance services.
