Sanjivani (2002 TV series)
Sanjivani: A Medical Boon was an Indian television series that aired on Star Plus from 2002 to 2005. It is considered one of the first Indian medical drama series and paved the way for similar themes in the Indian television landscape. The show was created by Siddharth Malhotra and produced by Cinevistaas Limited. It focused on the lives of four medical interns, their professional challenges, and personal lives while working at Sanjivani Hospital.

The series revolves around four main characters: Dr. Shashank Gupta, Dr. Simran, Dr. Rahul Mehra, and Dr. Juhi Singh. Dr. Shashank Gupta is the head of Sanjivani Hospital and a mentor to the new interns. The story explores the pressures, drama, romance, and challenges faced by the interns in the medical profession. It also delves into the ethical dilemmas and the doctor-patient relationship, providing viewers with a glimpse into the workings of a hospital.
