Sarah, Countess of Ripon was a British aristocrat and the wife of George Robinson, 1st Marquess of Ripon. She was born Sarah Louisa Lascelles on 19 August 1837, the daughter of Henry Lascelles, 3rd Earl of Harewood and Lady Louisa Thynne.

Sarah Louisa Lascelles was born into the prominent Lascelles family, known for their significant influence and wealth. Her father, Henry Lascelles, 3rd Earl of Harewood, was a notable figure in British society, and her mother, Lady Louisa Thynne, was the daughter of Thomas Thynne, 2nd Marquess of Bath.

On 8 April 1851, Sarah married George Robinson, 1st Marquess of Ripon, who was then known as Viscount Goderich. George Robinson was a prominent British statesman who held various important positions, including Viceroy of India and Secretary of State for War.

Upon her marriage, Sarah became known as Viscountess Goderich. When her husband succeeded his father as the Earl of Ripon in 1859, she became the Countess of Ripon. In 1871, when her husband was created the Marquess of Ripon, she became the Marchioness of Ripon.
