Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Sasa was born in Chin State, a region in western Myanmar. He pursued his early education in local schools before moving abroad for higher studies. Sasa studied medicine and became a doctor, which later played a significant role in his humanitarian efforts.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Sasa's political career began in earnest following the 2021 coup d'état in Myanmar, which saw the Tatmadaw (Myanmar's military) seize control of the government. In response, Sasa joined the National Unity Government of Myanmar, an organization formed by elected lawmakers, activists, and ethnic leaders to oppose the military regime.

Role in the National Unity Government[edit | edit source]

In the NUG, Sasa was appointed as the Minister of International Cooperation. He has been instrumental in garnering international support for the NUG and advocating for the restoration of democracy in Myanmar. Sasa has also been involved in various diplomatic efforts to bring attention to the human rights abuses committed by the military junta.

Humanitarian Work[edit | edit source]

Before his involvement in politics, Sasa was known for his humanitarian work. He founded the organization Health and Hope, which aimed to provide medical care and education to remote and underserved communities in Myanmar. His work in this field earned him recognition both locally and internationally.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Sasa is known for his dedication to his country and his people. Despite the risks involved, he continues to advocate for democracy and human rights in Myanmar. His personal life remains largely private, as he focuses on his political and humanitarian efforts.
