Sassamansville, Pennsylvania
Sassamansville is a small unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is located in the township of New Hanover, and is served by the Boyertown Area School District.

The community of Sassamansville, often locally referred to as "Sassamansville", was named after the Sassaman family who were early settlers to the area. The community grew around the activities of the Sassaman family, who were influential in the early development of the area.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Sassamansville is located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania, in the county of Montgomery. It is part of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. The community is primarily rural, with a mix of farmland and residential areas.
Education[edit | edit source]
Sassamansville is served by the Boyertown Area School District. Students in the community attend New Hanover-Upper Frederick Elementary School, Boyertown Area Middle School East, and Boyertown Area Senior High School.
Transportation[edit | edit source]
The main roads serving Sassamansville are Hoffmansville Road and Big Road. The community is also served by several SEPTA bus routes.
