Save Ontario Shipwrecks
Save Ontario Shipwrecks (SOS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study, preservation, and promotion of Ontario's underwater cultural heritage. Founded in 1981, SOS is primarily composed of scuba divers and maritime history enthusiasts who share a common interest in the protection of Ontario's underwater resources.

The mission of Save Ontario Shipwrecks is to preserve and promote Ontario's underwater cultural heritage through education, research, and direct action. This includes the identification, documentation, and conservation of shipwrecks and other underwater archaeological sites in Ontario's waters.

Save Ontario Shipwrecks undertakes a variety of activities to fulfill its mission. These include:
