Shelton
Herbert Macgolfin Shelton (October 6, 1895 – January 1, 1985) was an American naturopath and a prominent figure in the Natural Hygiene movement. He was a prolific author and advocate for alternative medicine and natural health.

Shelton was born in Wylie, Texas. He developed an interest in natural health and nutrition at a young age. He studied at various institutions, including the American School of Chiropractic, the American School of Naturopathy, and the Lindlahr College of Natural Therapeutics.

Shelton began his career as a naturopathic practitioner and became a leading proponent of the Natural Hygiene movement. He founded the Dr. Shelton's Health School in San Antonio, Texas, where he promoted fasting and raw food diets as methods of healing.
