Shoshone County is a county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2010 census, the population was 12,765. The county seat is Wallace, and the largest city is Kellogg. Shoshone County is commonly referred to as the Silver Valley, due to its century-old mining history.

Shoshone County is included in the Coeur d'Alene, ID Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county has a total area of 2,636 square miles, of which 2,635 square miles is land and 1.2 square miles is water.
