Spoetzl
Spoetzl Brewery is one of the oldest independent breweries in the United States, located in Shiner, Texas. It is best known for producing Shiner Bock, a dark German/Czech-style beer that is now distributed in 49 states and 54 countries.

The Spoetzl Brewery was founded in 1909 by German and Czech immigrants who settled in Shiner, Texas. The brewery was named after Kosmos Spoetzl, a Bavarian brewmaster who became the owner and operator in 1915. Spoetzl had learned the art of brewing under the tutelage of his uncle in Germany and brought his expertise to Texas.

The brewery's flagship beer is Shiner Bock, a dark lager that was first brewed in 1913. Other popular products include Shiner Light Blonde, Shiner Premium, and Shiner Black Lager. The brewery also produces seasonal and limited-edition beers.

The Spoetzl Brewery operates on a 60-acre site with a brewing capacity of approximately 600,000 barrels per year. The brewery employs traditional brewing methods and uses only high-quality ingredients, including malted barley, hops, yeast, and water.

The brewery offers guided tours that provide insights into the brewing process and the history of the company. It also hosts events throughout the year, including the annual "Shiner Bocktoberfest" celebration.
