Springfield is a themed area at the Universal Studios theme parks, based on the fictional town of the same name from the animated television series The Simpsons. The area is designed to replicate the look and feel of the town of Springfield, featuring various attractions, restaurants, and shops inspired by the show.

The first Springfield area opened at Universal Studios Florida in 2013, followed by similar areas at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan. The themed area was developed in collaboration with the creators of The Simpsons to ensure an authentic experience for fans of the show.

Attractions[edit | edit source]

Springfield features several attractions that bring the world of The Simpsons to life:

The Simpsons Ride: A motion simulator ride that takes guests on a wild adventure through Krustyland, a theme park created by Krusty the Clown.
Kang & Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl: A spinning ride where guests can interact with the alien characters Kang and Kodos.
