St. Tammany Parish is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The parish seat is Covington. As of the 2020 census, the population was 264,570, making it one of the fastest-growing parishes in the state.

St. Tammany Parish was established in 1810, named after the legendary Lenape Chief Tamanend. The area was originally inhabited by various Native American tribes, including the Acolapissa and Choctaw.
