The Stanford Cardinal women's volleyball team represents Stanford University in the NCAA Division I women's volleyball competition and is a part of the Pac-12 Conference. The team has a distinguished history, marked by multiple NCAA championships and consistent appearances in the NCAA tournament.

The Stanford Cardinal women's volleyball program began in 1976 and quickly rose to prominence within collegiate volleyball. Under the guidance of various head coaches, including Don Shaw and John Dunning, the team has secured a reputation as a powerhouse in women's collegiate volleyball. The team's success is highlighted by their multiple NCAA championships and numerous appearances in the NCAA Final Four.

The current head coach, Kevin Hambly, took over the program in 2017. Under his leadership, the team has continued its tradition of excellence, capturing the NCAA title in 2018 and 2019.

The Stanford Cardinal women's volleyball team has won the NCAA championship nine times (1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2016, 2018, 2019). Their consistent performance has made them one of the most successful programs in women's volleyball history.
