Suplatast tosilate is a Th2 cytokine inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis. It was first developed in Japan and is marketed under the brand name IPD-1151T.

Suplatast tosilate works by selectively inhibiting the production of Th2 cytokines, which are a group of immune system proteins that play a key role in the development of allergic reactions.
