Sushi Ōji! (Japanese: スシ王子! ) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi from July 27, 2007, to September 14, 2007. The series is a unique blend of comedy, drama, and martial arts, centered around the world of sushi making.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The story follows Mizushima Maizu, played by Domoto Koichi, who is a sushi chef with a traumatic past. As a child, he witnessed a tragic incident involving his family and sushi, which left him with a fear of sushi. Despite this, he is determined to become a master sushi chef. Throughout the series, Maizu travels across Japan, encountering various sushi chefs and learning their secrets, while also confronting his own fears.
