- Swartz is a small town located in the northeastern part of the state of Louisiana, United States. It is a part of Ouachita Parish and is known for its peaceful, rural atmosphere. The town is named after Adam Swartz, a local landowner in the late 19th century.

- Swartz is located at 32°32′7″N 92°4′40″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.2 square miles, all land.

- As of the 2010 census, there were 4,536 people residing in the town. The racial makeup of the town was 86.3% White, 11.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.7% Asian, 0.5% from other races, and 1.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.6% of the population.
