History[edit | edit source]
T1International was founded in 2013 by Elizabeth Rowley, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of four. After witnessing the struggles of people with Type 1 diabetes in different parts of the world, she decided to start an organization that would fight for the rights of people with diabetes worldwide.
Advocacy[edit | edit source]
T1International works on a variety of advocacy initiatives, including the Insulin4all campaign, which aims to bring attention to the high cost of insulin in many parts of the world. The organization also advocates for transparency in the insulin supply chain, and for the rights of people with diabetes to have access to the necessary tools and education to manage their condition.
Insulin4all[edit | edit source]
The Insulin4all campaign is one of T1International's main advocacy initiatives. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the high cost of insulin and advocates for changes to make insulin more affordable and accessible for everyone who needs it.
Transparency[edit | edit source]
T1International advocates for transparency in the insulin supply chain. The organization believes that more transparency in the pricing and distribution of insulin is necessary to ensure that everyone who needs insulin has access to it.
