From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

TI Media is a consumer magazine and digital publishing company based in London, United Kingdom. It was established in 2007 following a merger between IPC Media, a leading consumer magazine publisher, and Time Inc., a multinational mass media corporation.

History[edit | edit source]

TI Media's history can be traced back to the formation of IPC Media in 1963. IPC Media was a major player in the UK consumer magazine market, publishing titles across a wide range of interests, including music, lifestyle, entertainment, and women's magazines. In 2007, IPC Media merged with Time Inc., a multinational mass media corporation, to form TI Media.

Operations[edit | edit source]

TI Media publishes over 40 consumer magazines and digital media properties in the UK, making it one of the largest consumer magazine publishers in the country. Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as Woman's Weekly, Country Life, Decanter, and TV Times, among others.

In addition to its print publications, TI Media also operates a number of digital platforms, offering content across a range of formats, including video, social media, and podcasts.

Ownership[edit | edit source]

In 2018, TI Media was acquired by Future plc, a global platform for specialist media. The acquisition expanded Future's portfolio of brands and increased its presence in the consumer magazine and digital publishing market.
