Tan Boon Teik
Tan Boon Teik (1929 – 10 March 2012) was a prominent Singaporean lawyer and the longest-serving Attorney-General of Singapore. He held the position from 1969 to 1992, making significant contributions to the legal landscape of Singapore.

Tan Boon Teik was born in 1929 in Singapore. He received his early education at Raffles Institution, one of the premier educational institutions in Singapore. He later pursued his legal studies at the University of Malaya in Singapore, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.

Tan began his legal career in the Legal Service and quickly rose through the ranks due to his dedication and expertise. In 1969, he was appointed as the Attorney-General of Singapore, a position he held for 23 years until his retirement in 1992.
