Teaneck, New Jersey is a township located in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As part of the New York metropolitan area, Teaneck is situated approximately 15 miles from Midtown Manhattan. Teaneck's history dates back to its incorporation as a township on February 19, 1895, from portions of Englewood Township and Ridgefield Township.
