Ternopil National Medical University (Ukrainian: Тернопільський національний медичний університет імені І. Я. Горбачевського) is a public medical university located in Ternopil, Ukraine. It is named after the prominent Ukrainian scientist Ivan Horbachevsky. The university is known for its comprehensive medical education and research programs.

Ternopil National Medical University was established in 1957 as Ternopil Medical Institute. Over the years, it has grown significantly in size and reputation, becoming a leading institution for medical education in Ukraine. In 1992, it was renamed Ternopil State Medical Academy, and in 2004, it received the status of a university, becoming Ternopil State Medical University. In 2019, it was granted national status and became Ternopil National Medical University.
