The CW
The CW is an American television network that was launched on September 18, 2006. The network was formed as a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment, a subsidiary of WarnerMedia. The CW primarily targets audiences aged 18-34 and features a mix of original programming, including drama, comedy, and reality television series.

The CW was created as a result of the merger between The WB and UPN, two struggling networks that were also targeting younger audiences. The name "The CW" is derived from the first letters of CBS and Warner Bros.
