The Habit Burger Grill was founded in 1969 in Santa Barbara, California by brothers Brent and Bruce Reichard. The original location was a small take-out stand, but the business quickly expanded due to its popularity. The Reichard brothers began franchising the brand in 2007, and it has since grown to over 275 locations across the United States and internationally.
