Theo Bell

Theo Bell was born on December 21, 1953, in Bakersfield, California. He attended Kern County high school, where he excelled in multiple sports, including football and track. His athletic prowess earned him a scholarship to the University of Arizona, where he played college football for the Arizona Wildcats football team.

At the University of Arizona, Bell was a standout player, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. His performance on the field caught the attention of NFL scouts, and he was considered one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country.
Professional Career[edit | edit source]
Theo Bell was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 1976 NFL Draft. He played for the Steelers from 1976 to 1980, during which time he was part of the team that won two Super Bowl championships (Super Bowl XIII and Super Bowl XIV).
In 1981, Bell was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he continued to play until 1985. During his time with the Buccaneers, Bell was a key player in the team's offense, known for his ability to make crucial catches in important games.
