Thorrun Govind

Thorrun Govind is a British pharmacist and healthcare advocate. She is known for her work in promoting the role of pharmacists in the healthcare system and for her advocacy on healthcare issues in the media.

Govind was born and raised in Bolton, England. She studied Pharmacy at the University of Bradford, where she graduated with a first-class honours degree.

After graduation, Govind began her career as a community pharmacist. She has worked in various roles within the pharmacy sector, including as a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and pharmacy owner.

In addition to her work in pharmacy, Govind is a regular contributor to healthcare discussions in the media. She has appeared on television and radio programmes, and has written articles for various healthcare publications.

Govind is also an active member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, where she has served on the English Pharmacy Board. She is known for her advocacy on issues such as the role of pharmacists in the healthcare system, the importance of medication safety, and the need for greater integration of pharmacy services into the wider healthcare system.
