Tire, İzmir
Tire, İzmir is a district and its center town, located in the İzmir Province of the Aegean Region, Turkey. The district is known for its historical and cultural richness, as well as its vibrant local economy.

Tire has a rich history dating back to the ancient Greek period. It was known as "Tyras" in ancient times and was an important city of the Ionians. The city was later conquered by the Roman Empire, and then by the Byzantine Empire.
In the 14th century, Tire became a part of the Ottoman Empire. During the Ottoman period, Tire was a center of Turkish culture and arts, and it was known for its skilled craftsmen and artisans.

Tire is located in the western part of Turkey, in the İzmir Province. The district is surrounded by the districts of Selçuk, Torbalı, Bayındır, and Ödemiş. The town is situated in a fertile valley, surrounded by hills.
