Tire, İzmir
Tire, İzmir is a district and its center town, located in the İzmir Province of the Aegean Region, Turkey. The district is known for its historical and cultural richness, as well as its vibrant local economy.

Tire has a rich history dating back to the ancient Greek period. It was known as "Tyras" in ancient times and was an important city of the Ionians. The city was later conquered by the Roman Empire, and then by the Byzantine Empire.
