The Tormore Distillery is a renowned whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It is known for its unique architectural design and high-quality single malt Scotch whisky.

History[edit | edit source]

The Tormore Distillery was established in the year 1960 by the Long John Distillers. It was designed by the famous architect Sir Albert Richardson. The distillery was later acquired by the Allied Distillers in 1975 and then by Pernod Ricard in 2005.

Production[edit | edit source]

The Tormore Distillery uses traditional methods of whisky production. The distillery has a capacity of producing around 3.7 million litres of whisky per year. The water used in the production is sourced from the nearby Achvochkie Burn.

The Tormore Distillery produces a range of single malt Scotch whiskies. Some of the notable products include the Tormore 12 Year Old, Tormore 14 Year Old, and Tormore 16 Year Old. The distillery also produces limited edition whiskies from time to time.
