Trigg County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,339. Its county seat is Cadiz. The county was founded in 1820 and is named for Stephen Trigg, a frontier officer in the American Revolutionary War who died in the Battle of Blue Licks.
