Troms og Finnmark is a county in Norway, established on January 1, 2020, through the merger of the two former counties, Troms and Finnmark. This reorganization was part of a nationwide municipal reform aimed at reducing the number of counties in the country to improve administrative efficiency and service delivery. Troms og Finnmark is located in the northernmost part of Norway, encompassing the western part of the Scandinavian Peninsula and the eastern part of the Varanger Peninsula.
