The University of Malawi College of Medicine (CoM) is a prestigious medical school located in Blantyre, Malawi. Established in 1991, it is the only medical school in the country and is affiliated with the University of Malawi. The College of Medicine is renowned for its commitment to excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare delivery.

The College of Medicine was founded with the aim of addressing the shortage of healthcare professionals in Malawi. Prior to its establishment, aspiring medical students had to travel abroad to pursue their medical education. Recognizing the need for a local medical school, the government of Malawi collaborated with the University of Malawi to establish the College of Medicine.
